In literally the most insane timeline that is 2020, which has actually been SO BLEAK that Black Mirror creators announced they were stepping back from creating episodes because the world was already too dark; this next event is just as bonkers as the last.

To truly feel the full effect of how crazy this year has been, here’s a short recap on what the universe has laid out for us so far in 2020:

  • World War III almost happened
  • Kobe Bryant and his daughter tragically die in a helicopter crash.

Back to the monkeys…

In Northern India, a lab technician was just trying to do their job transporting COVID-19 test samples when he was attacked by said monkeys. And yes, they stole the test samples.

In something straight out of Planet Of The Apes, he manages to film them running away with the samples which has health officials concerned that they’ll catch it, and spread it to more people.

What is happening!?

Well, apparently urban sprawl is directly affecting monkeys by displacing them from their natural habitat, which has increased the regularity of monkey attacks in India.

Their attacks have been deadly in the past, especially for children. Luckily, the lab tech was left unharmed. But who’s to say what’ll happen with the samples?

What does 2020 have in store for us next? Any guesses? Leave us a guess in the comments!
