Talk about long-lasting, true love! The oldest married pair has been made official! Lovebirds Julio Mora and Waldramina Quinteros snuck away to get married in February, 1941 because their families disapproved of their love, and 79 years later, they’re still together!

And yes, they are as in love as they were when they met, it’s SO CUTE you’re going to die of happiness.

He’s 110 and she’s 104.

There are longer marriages, but there’s currently no other marriage between people so old, according to Guinness World Records. It’s a combined 214 years! (nearly 215!) Making them the oldest married pair!

Jorge and Waldramina’s love story started like this…

Jorge was born on March 10, 1910 (a Pisces) and Waldramina was born on October 16, 1915 (a Libra). They married on February 7, 1941, in the first church (!!!!) built by the Spanish in Quito: La Iglesia de El Belen.

They were both teachers who retired in the capital of Quito where they just received the Guinness certification! Who knew they’d be the oldest married couple in the world? I bet you they didn’t!

The greatest news? They’re still lucid and active!

Even though they are quite old and not to mention adorable, their daughter says they’re both lucid even though their agility isn’t the best anymore.

Unfortunately with the pandemic, they’ve been unable to see their large family which has had an effect on their mental health. But they’ve still got each other! (Let alone four surviving children, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild!)

Love is one heck of a beautiful thing!
