A lonely and widowed 10-year-old Asian short-clawed otter had an otter dating site made especially for him!

Living in a seal sanctuary in England, Harris lost the love of his life, Apricot, when she died at 16.

The lonely bugger, desperate for some companionship, ended up with an otter dating site with a profile made by the sanctuary!

When you’re single for the first time in 4 years, it’s hard to get back in the game on your own!

The fake otter dating site, named Fishing For Love, was created in the hopes of snagging him an otter cutie! (Get it? ‘another’ cutie hehe)

His dating profile says:

“Looking to find my significant otter. I am very attentive, I love a cuddle and I am a very good listener. I will love you like no otter.”

Firstly, Harris’ pun game is on point! Good enough to snag an otter with a good sense of humor, I’m sure!

Harris’ profile has everything a dating profile should have (take note, people!)

His profile has enough personality with enough about him and it really brings out his sense of humor! Plus, that photo is a definite babe magnet.

Like, come on.

According to sources, when Apricot passed away he was “absolutely lost”. That’ll just break your heart in a million pieces won’t it?

But there’s good news, the otter dating site worked! He met his ‘next!’

An otter named Pumpkin living at Sea Life Scarborough Sanctuary was waiting for him and they didn’t even know it! She also had recently lost her partner, Eric. Like can this story get any more perfect.

“Pumpkin has been extremely lonely so we are delighted that Harris will be coming to join her. [We] hope his arrival will provide Pumpkin with comfort and companionship.”

In order to make the transition as successful as possible, they decided to re-home Harris into Pumpkin’s sanctuary so that the male would become submissive to the female. Because if not, things could get bad. Sassy otters are sassy!

But not to worry, Harris will be enjoying his new life with Pumpkin and his original sanctuary will definitely keep in touch!
